Activities at Sundance

  • The Provo River is known for its Brown Trout, easy wading access, prolific hatches and beauty. These features combine to create a world-class fishing experience.

Sundance Resort offers rentals and guiding should you be interested, or not own your own gear!

  • All Sundance Resort trails are designed for downhill riding and have excellent intermediate and advanced trail riding. Take a ride on the lift and enjoy the descent over and over again (with some beers in between!)

  • Exclusively available to Sundance lodging guests, these rest and relaxation pools are the perfect way to ease into your morning or unwind after a day on the mountain.

This amenity features a barrel sauna, two hot tubs, one large relaxation spa, plus changing rooms, and an outdoor shower.

  • The Sundance ZipTour is one of the most exciting and scenic zip tours in the world, boasting over 2,100 feet of vertical drop — the most of any zip line tour in the United States. Guests can ride side-by-side on the zip line’s double cables and control their speed, cruising up to 65 miles per hour, or stopping mid-air to take in the views.

  • Sundance offers over 20 miles of alpine trails for the beginner to the expert hiker. Take a casual lift ride up the mountain and enjoy a scenic trail back to the base.

Our favorite is the hike to Stewart Falls, a beautiful waterfall pouring off Timpanogos.

All our hikes begin within the resort & require use of chair lifts to access the trail heads. The lifts begin spinning at 10am during the summer time. Tickets can be purchased online or in person at the ticket office.
